Dwayne Johnson is the man on fire. Since 2016, we have seen him in so many movies. Some of these movies are great while some are not-so-great. Well, once again, you will see the action man in a movie written by Rawson Marchall Thurber. One thing is for sure, wherever Dwayne Johnson goes, actions are bound to follow. Rawson who is the director of this movie started his career as a director with the Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller sports comedy "DodgeBall: An Underdog Story". The new movie "Skyscraper" will make it the second time Dwayne Johnson and Rawson will work together in a movie. The first time they worked together was in the making of the movie - Central Intelligence in 2016. The Central Intelligence paired Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.

What We Think About the Movie: Skyscraper

Like we mentioned at the start of this article, most reviewers think that the movie: Skyscraper is just an average. Well, we think so too. The movie does not successfully showcase Johnson's charm as he brings some levity to the film. It is not like Hercules which he gave an unforgettable performance. The movie has a lot of imitation to a similar action movie - Die Hard.

The action set pieces in the movie never truly capitalize on the potential of Skyscraper's unique setting. Perhaps, the reason why most people think Skyscraper is just an average movie is because it focuses on the tried-and-true them of the genre - a hero risking his life to save his family. However, the characters weren't developed as one should have expected.

However, you can still enjoy the movie. There are a lot of actions scenes, surprises, betrayals, and moments of gasp breaths.
